The “factory” mentality regarding education that has been too prevalent in the United States for decades is the antithesis of the Eldorado Emerson philosophy. Here, we recognize that each child is an individual who moves at his or her own pace. Our teachers serve as guides along the proper path. Ultimately we partner to shape lives filled with achievement, citizenship, and discovery.
At Eldorado Emerson, students enjoy the “close-knit family feel” of a community that nurtures and accepts them for who they are and who they want to become. Small class sizes mean students can’t hide or get lost. It also means there is plenty of time for one-on-one attention by teachers. Safe from bullying, Eldorado Emerson offers a learning environment where students are free to fully express themselves through a variety of academic and creative outlets.
Now is a most exciting time to join our student body at Eldorado Emerson Private School, as we have implemented important changes in both curriculum and method while retaining the philosophy and essence of our school.
In our elementary grades, we have developed a consistent math program that puts our students in K-7 ahead of peers at other schools. To do this, we have implemented Singapore Math in our elementary grades. This system demands tremendous and arduous work and our talented teachers have truly embraced this new math program.
For our upper grades, our newly implemented Advance Placement program offers more than 10 AP courses in math, science, and English. More classes will be added in the near future.
